About Analog Acres
We believe there is still something special about gathering in a room with real instruments, real people, and a song worth capturing.
Analog Acres is a woman-run recording studio, creative retreat, and educational space located on a small working farm just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Surrounded by open fields, horses, chickens, turkeys, and the everyday rhythms of farm life.
Founded by touring artist Arielle, Analog Acres grew from a desire to create a different kind of recording experience. One that values authenticity over perfection and connection over pressure.
After years of performing, recording, and working within the music industry, Arielle saw how many artists felt disconnected from the creative process. Music was becoming faster, more automated, and increasingly focused on perfection rather than expression. Where the clock ticking made the creative process constrict.
Analog Acres was created as a response to that.
Today, artists come here not only to make records, but to reconnect with why they started making music in the first place.
The studio specializes in analog and hybrid recording, using restored vintage equipment, tape machines, and classic recording consoles that bring warmth, depth, and character to every project. But the gear is only part of the story.
We believe artists create their best work when they feel comfortable enough to be themselves. Whether you're a seasoned professional or recording your very first project, our goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, encouraging, and free from the pressure often associated with traditional studio environments.
Analog Acres is dedicated to preserving the disappearing craft of analog recording and restoration. We actively restore historic tape machines, consoles, and recording equipment while teaching musicians, engineers, and curious creatives how these technologies work and why they continue to matter.
In many ways, Analog Acres is part recording studio, part classroom, part preservation project, and part gathering place.
It is a home for artists who value craftsmanship.
A place for people who still believe records should sound like people.
A place for women who want to learn the technical side of music production and know they belong there.
A place where old knowledge is preserved, shared, and passed on.
And above all, a place where great songs can grow.
